The German company Grob Werke will hold open days from 21 to 24 March 2023 at its headquarters in Mindelheim.

2023 is shaping up to be a big year for industrial events. At international level we have EMO HANNOVER in September and Global Industrie in Lyon in March.

At national level, Barcelona is hosting two new events: Metal Barcelona and Advanced Machine tools, in addition to Metalmadrid and the Subcontratación fair at the BEC.

This time GROB has scheduled open days at its headquarters in Mindelheim to mark the 20th anniversary of its Open House.

News in machining, additive manufacturing and e-mobility.

The open days will showcase the latest products and advances from the German giant.

On the one hand, the showroom will offer the chance to see the entire product range of universal machining centres, both 4-axis and 5-axis, up close.

With a track record of more than 90 years building systems and solutions for the machining industry, GROB is presenting its 4-axis machines in the G440, G640 and G840 series.

In addition to the well-known horizontal 5-axis universal machines of the ACCESS series (G350a and G550a), the G series (G150, G350 and G550) and the G series with turning option (G350T, G550T and G750T).

Additive manufacturing

GROB will show us its advances and innovations in additive manufacturing with the GMP300, a machine that prints liquid metal. It was presented in May 2022 and was one of the stars of the last edition of AMB Stuttgart, held in September.

E-mobility

In the e-mobility sector, GROB remains one of the leading companies in the manufacture of parts and systems. Electric motors and machines, batteries and fuel cells are just some of the complete solutions offered by GROB technology.

Live machining and automation solutions.

GROB's in-house events at its facilities are always a spectacle. As usual, during the open days visitors will be able to see a large number of machines cutting metal live, together with leading suppliers of both software (CAD/CAM) and tools and accessories.

Visitors will also be able to see the various automation solutions from GROB applied to both 4-axis and 5-axis machines (including 5-axis machines with turning option).
