Applications now open for the €5,000,000 non-repayable grant for INDUSTRIAL SMEs
On 8 September the application period opened for the aid programme RENOVE INDUSTRIA 4.0 to promote investment in new machinery and advanced equipment, both hardware and software.

Renove Industria 4.0
The LINE 1 covers the purchase of advanced machinery (software and hardware) for the implementation of Industry 4.0 projects in the following areas:
- Big Data and advanced analytics, for Business Intelligence processes and Data Mining to predict behaviour patterns.
- Additive manufacturing projects, which promote the flexible production of new parts in a wide range of materials.
- Advanced and collaborative robotics projects, for real-time collaboration with workers, improving processes and productivity on the shop floor.
- IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) projects, which make it possible to equip all kinds of devices and machinery in the factory with sensors and to guarantee their internet connectivity.
- Artificial intelligence projects for the industrial environment, in which machines and plant equipment are able to learn and make decisions autonomously.
- The adoption of Machine Learning or Deep Learning techniques in the industrial environment.
- Cyber-physical systems projects that incorporate components with advanced computing and connectivity capabilities within the value chain.
- Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality projects, which allow real situations to be recreated in simulated worlds so that the user can view a technological device with added graphical information.
- Digital Twin projects, to create a virtual replica of an object or system in order to monitor it and analyse its behaviour in specific situations
The LINE 2 focuses on the purchase of new advanced machinery (software and hardware) for the implementation of energy efficiency and technological improvement:
- High energy-efficiency technology, resulting in a reduction of at least 30% in consumption compared with conventional installations.
- Equipment with devices that allow the measurement and recording of consumption of fuel and electricity.
