Ferrotall becomes a new technical member of ADECAT

On 25 October, the ordinary general meeting of ADECAT approved the admission of Ferrotall as a new technical member.

Ferrotall thus becomes a member of the long-established Catalan association. The Catalan Association of Bar Turners and Machinists (ADECAT) is a non-profit business association founded in 1978 to contribute to the technological and business development of the bar turning and machining sector in Catalonia. Internationally, it is a founding member of the Syndicat International du Décolletage (SID), the body that brings together the leading institutions in the sector.

The Association is made up of bar turning and machining companies (full members), as well as their suppliers (technical members). ADECAT works to defend corporate interests and promote the profession in the machining and mechanical manufacturing design community, with the aim of boosting the competitiveness and professionalisation of the sector, acting in different areas on behalf of its member companies: training, exports, internationalisation, networking, and innovation and knowledge, among others.
