Description
The Vurcon PL-36 × 1000 is a flat-bed CNC lathe with 1,000 mm between centres. It swings Ø 410 mm over the bed and Ø 220 mm over the carriage, turns up to Ø 360 × 860 mm and accepts bars of Ø 58 mm. The A2-6 spindle runs at 3,000 rpm with 5.5 / 7.5 kW. Electronic variable-speed drive. It weighs 1,750 kg.
Typical applications

Standard equipment
- FAGOR 8060 Elite T-ICU control.
- 6-station turret and Ø 200 mm 3-jaw chuck.
- Manual tailstock with Ø 65 mm quill, fixed steady rest 20-130 and 130-260 mm, travelling steady rest 20-80 mm.
- Manual handwheels, lubrication, coolant, removable swarf tray and full enclosure.
Options include FANUC 0i-TF Plus or SIEMENS 828D control, hydraulic chuck and tailstock, swarf conveyor and air conditioning in the electrical cabinet. The PL-36 series is also built with 750 mm between centres.
