Description
The Vurcon PL-61M × 1000 is a flat-bed CNC lathe with 1,000 mm between centres. It swings Ø 610 mm over the bed and Ø 360 mm over the carriage, turns up to Ø 360 × 980 mm and accepts bars of Ø 78 mm. The A2-8 spindle runs at 2,500 rpm with 11 kW. Electronic variable-speed drive. It weighs 3,100 kg. Its VDI30F live-tool turret of 12 tools and the C axis make it possible to drill, tap and mill without removing the part from the chuck.
Typical applications

Standard equipment

Options include FANUC 0i-TF Plus or SIEMENS 828D control, hydraulic chuck and tailstock, swarf conveyor and air conditioning in the electrical cabinet. The PL-61M series is also built with 1,500, 2,000 and 3,000 mm between centres.
