Description
The Vurcon EL60 × 1000 is an electronic cycle-control lathe: it is operated like a conventional lathe, with handwheels on X and Z, but it automatically runs turning, facing, threading and copying cycles that the operator enters on a touchscreen, with no ISO code programming. It swings Ø 650 mm over the bed and Ø 380 mm over the cross slide, takes workpieces up to 1,000 mm long and is fitted with a Ø 320 mm jaw chuck. The A11 spindle runs at 20-2,000 rpm (stepless speed control) with 11 kW and 650 Nm, and has a Ø 104 mm bore. Weight: 2,150 kg.

Standard equipment
- Cycle control with touchscreen, constant cutting speed and electronic handwheels on X/Z.
