Description
The Vurcon EL40 × 1000 is an electronic cycle lathe: it is operated like a conventional lathe, with handwheels on X and Z, but automatically runs turning, facing, threading and copying cycles that the operator enters on a touchscreen, with no ISO code programming. It swings Ø 400 mm over the bed and Ø 200 mm over the cross slide, takes workpieces up to 1,000 mm and comes with a Ø 200 mm chuck. The A6 spindle runs at 20-2,000 rpm (stepless control) with 5.5 kW and 100 Nm, with a Ø 53 mm spindle bore. It weighs 1,500 kg.
