The Doosan Z290SMY is a slant-bed turning centre for round parts that also need milling, off-centre drilling or off-axis tapping: shafts, flanges, fittings, hydraulic components and automotive or machinery parts.
Model highlights

What is the Y axis for on a CNC lathe?
The Y axis moves the tool off the centreline of the part. With live tooling you can mill flats, keyways or off-centre holes without moving the part to a milling machine. On this unit the Y-axis travel is 80 mm.
