Description
The Vurcon SBL66MYS is a 30° slant-bed CNC lathe with live tooling. It swings Ø 550 mm over the bed, turns parts up to Ø 340 × 500 mm and has a bar capacity of Ø 60 mm. The A2-6 spindle (motor spindle) runs at 5,000 rpm with 20.5 kW, and the turret carries 12 BMT55 live tools + Y axis. It adds a ±50 mm Y axis and an A2-5 sub-spindle of 4,000 rpm (2.5 kW, Ø48 mm bore). The slant bed clears swarf well and gives good access to the work area.
