Description
The Vurcon SBL66MY is a 30° slant-bed CNC lathe with live tooling. It swings Ø 700 mm over the bed, turns parts up to Ø 340 × 535 mm and has a bar capacity of Ø 65 mm. The A2-6 spindle (motor spindle) runs at 5,000 rpm with 22 kW, and the turret carries 12 BMT55 live tools + Y axis. It adds a ±50 mm Y axis. The slant bed clears chips well and gives good access to the work area.
Typical applications
- Turned parts with radial drilling, milling or threading in a single clamping.
- Medium series from bar or part by part, in steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
- Subcontractors and workshops that need to shorten cycle times.
