Frequently asked questions

What equipment can be seen on this Arien A6620 lathe?

The photos show a digital readout on the carriage, a tailstock with revolving centre, a jaw chuck on the headstock, a toolpost turret and a rear guard along the bed. We recommend confirming with us which accessories are included in the sale.

What capacity does this lathe have?

Our data sheet only lists the model and year, so we do not publish swing or distance between centres without checking them. If you need these dimensions to assess your parts, ask us and we will measure them on the machine itself at our premises in Monforte del Cid.

What type of workshop is a centre lathe like this suited to?

It is suited to maintenance, repair and general machining shops that work on one-off parts or short runs. A conventional centre lathe allows jobs to be set up quickly, without programming, and is practical for shafts, bushings, flanges and repair threading, without the need for CNC-specialist staff.
