Frequently asked questions

What drilling capacity does the Helfer TH25 have?

According to the machine's own plate, it drills up to 25 mm in diameter and offers 12 spindle speeds, between 210 and 2,220 rpm. The low speeds suit large drills and steels, and the high speeds suit small drills, aluminium and other soft materials.

What electrical supply does it need?

The plate states a 550 W motor at 400 V and 50 Hz, i.e. a three-phase connection. This is the usual supply in industrial workshops. If your installation is single-phase, contact us before purchase so we can look at the most suitable solution.

What is the difference between a pillar drill and a bench drill?

A pillar drill stands on the floor and has a longer column, so it accepts taller workpieces under the spindle and a table adjustable over a wider range. A bench drill is placed on a workbench and takes up less space, but limits the height of the workpiece.
