Description and equipment

Mechanical eccentric press Smeral LKR 200/80

200-tonne mechanical eccentric press built by Šmeral Brno (Czech Republic) in 1962. It is designed for cutting, punching and stamping sheet metal in production runs, with an 800 x 800 mm table and a short 50 mm stroke.

Šmeral is one of the longest-established European makers of mechanical presses. Presses of this type stand out for their robust frame, constant stroke rate and simple mechanical maintenance, with no complex electronics.

Frequently asked questions

What force and stroke does the Smeral LKR 200/80 press have?

According to its rating plate, the press delivers 200 tonnes of force with a 50 mm stroke, 60 strokes per minute and 80 mm of slide adjustment. The table measures 800 x 800 mm and the distance between platens is 400 mm, which allows medium-sized dies to be fitted.

What is a 200-tonne eccentric press used for?

It is mainly used for cutting, punching and blanking sheet metal in medium and long production runs. Its short stroke and its rate of 60 strokes per minute make it suitable for flat parts, brackets, fittings and stamped components, where force at the working point matters more than drawing depth.

Where can I see the press and who takes care of transport?

The press is at Ferrotall, in Monforte del Cid (Alicante), where you can visit it by appointment or ask us for a video. Our own technical service can take care of transport, installation and commissioning at your premises, bearing in mind its weight of 9,100 kg and height of 3,450 mm.
