Description and equipment
Used Puchades TDH 200 material heater (hopper dryer) for plastic injection moulding. According to the photos, it has a cylindrical hopper with sight glasses, a blower, a panel with electronic temperature controller, ammeters and timer, a drying-temperature guide by material, an upper material loader and a support frame. The plate states 380 V and date 24/97.

Frequently asked questions
What is a material heater used for in injection moulding?
It dries and preheats plastic pellets before they enter the injection moulding machine. This removes the moisture that causes bubbles, sink marks or surface defects in materials such as ABS, polycarbonate or nylon.
What temperatures does it work at?
The equipment's own guide recommends, for example, 80 °C for PE and PP, 82 °C for ABS and nylon, 71 °C for PVC and 120 °C for polycarbonate. The temperature controller lets you adjust the setpoint according to the material.
What supply does it need?
The plate states a 380 V supply. Other plate data, such as the hopper capacity, cannot be read reliably in the photo; contact us and we will confirm them at our premises.
