Description and equipment

Fexac conventional milling machine

Conventional knee-type milling machine from the Spanish manufacturer Fexac, suited to maintenance shops, tooling, die making and one-off part production. Its compact size, with a weight of 1,350 kg, makes it easy to place in small and medium-sized workshops.

Key strengths

Fexac made universal and knee-type milling machines that were very widespread in Spanish workshops thanks to their simple, robust construction. This unit has a vertical head and a digital readout, which makes it easier to work accurately and quickly without relying solely on the verniers of the handwheels.

Frequently asked questions

What is a conventional milling machine like this Fexac used for?

It is used for face milling, slotting, pocketing, drilling and reaming parts by hand, without CNC programming. It is the usual machine in maintenance, tooling and training workshops, where one-off parts or repairs are made and quick set-up takes priority over series production.

What does a digital readout add to a conventional milling machine?

The readout shows on screen the position of the axes as read by measuring scales, so the operator does not depend on the handwheel verniers. It reduces errors, speeds up measuring between passes and makes jobs such as coordinate drilling or pockets with precise dimensions easier.

How much space does the machine take up?

According to our data sheet, the milling machine occupies 1,500 x 1,600 x 1,600 mm and weighs 1,350 kg, so it can be installed in medium-sized workshops. If you need the table travels or the spindle taper, ask us and we will confirm them on the machine itself.
