Fixed-bed CNC milling machine MTE BF 3200
Fixed-bed CNC milling machine from the manufacturer MTE, built in 1998, with a Heidenhain 426 control and a 3,200 x 1,000 mm table. It is designed for machining large, heavy parts in boilermaking, capital equipment and moulds.
In the MTE BF series the table travels on a fixed bed and the column carries the head. This unit has an automatic two-face 360° swivelling head, which allows machining in different orientations without removing the workpiece. The Heidenhain 426 offers conversational and ISO programming.

What is the advantage of a fixed-bed milling machine?
