What is a pedestal grinder used for?
It is used to deburr parts, break edges and hand-sharpen tools such as drills, chisels or blades. Being mounted on a pedestal that can be anchored to the floor, it sits at a comfortable, stable working height and takes up no space on the workshop bench.
What is the advantage of a two-wheel grinder?
It lets you fit a coarse-grit wheel for roughing and a fine-grit one for finishing or sharpening. The operator moves from one to the other without changing machines or removing wheels, which speeds up the touch-up jobs common in a machine or maintenance shop.
