The Lagun MC 750 is a three-axis vertical machining centre for milling, drilling and tapping medium-sized prismatic parts: plates, flanges, brackets, tooling and components for moulds or industrial maintenance. Its 900 x 450 mm table and 750 mm longitudinal travel place it in the most common range for the general machining shop.
Lagun is a Spanish manufacturer with a long track record in milling machines and machining centres. This unit combines an automatic tool changer, ISO 40 DIN 69871 taper, a standard with a wide range of toolholders on the market, and Heidenhain numerical control, a make whose milling controls are known for their conversational dialogue programming at the machine.
One-off parts and short or medium runs, mould and die plates and inserts, clamping tooling, spare parts for maintenance and machined fabricated components, in shops that already work with ISO 40 tooling.
The machine is at our premises in Monforte del Cid (Alicante), where you can visit it; contact us to see it running or to receive a video. Our own service engineers take care of transport, installation and commissioning.
The table measures 900 x 450 mm and the travels are 750 mm in X, 450 mm in Y and 510 mm in Z. It is suitable for plates, flanges, brackets and medium-sized prismatic parts that fit in that working volume. The maximum permissible load on the table can be checked with our technical team.
It has Heidenhain numerical control and a spindle with ISO 40 DIN 69871 taper, with a head of up to 6,000 rpm and an 18-position automatic changer. The ISO 40 taper is one of the most widespread in Europe, which makes it easy to find toolholders and reuse those you already have in your workshop.
A machining centre like the MC 750 works with numerical control and changes tools automatically from its magazine, so it runs complete milling, drilling and tapping programs without continuous operator intervention. A conventional milling machine requires manual changes and movements and is less productive in repetitive runs.
