Description
The Vurcon VL-157 is a large 3-axis vertical machining centre. It has travels of 1,500 × 700 × 700 mm, a 1,600 × 700 mm table with a load capacity of 1,400 kg and a BBT40 spindle of 10,000 rpm with a 15 / 18.5 kW motor and 138.8 Nm of torque. The bed and column are cast iron, with linear roller guideways on all three axes and an oil-cooled spindle head. It weighs 11,000 kg.
Typical applications

- Heavy fabricated parts and machinery components that need a large table and high load capacity.
