Description
The Vurcon VL-116 is a medium-sized 3-axis vertical machining centre. It has travels of 1,100 × 610 × 630 mm, a 1,300 × 610 mm table with a load capacity of 1,000 kg and a BBT40 spindle of 10,000 rpm with a 11 / 15 kW motor and 191 Nm of torque. The bed and column are cast iron, with linear roller guideways on all three axes and an oil-cooled spindle head. It weighs 7,500 kg.
Typical applications
- Medium-sized die and mould work: mould bases, cavities and inserts.
- Automotive and machinery parts in medium runs, in steel and aluminium.
- Long parts that do not fit on a compact centre.
