Description
The Hurco VMX 6030i combines the X travel of the VMX 60 with a Y axis extended to 762 mm: 1,524 × 762 × 610 mm (X/Y/Z). Hurco presents it as a machine that saves floor space without giving up capacity, ideal for wide parts, mould plates or several fixtures in parallel.
The 1,680 × 762 mm table, with 7 T-slots of 18 mm (H8) and a load capacity of 2,000 kg, is combined with two spindle options: SK40 at 12,000 rpm, 18 kW and 239 Nm, or SK50 at 8,000 rpm, 22 kW and 353 Nm for heavy roughing. The magazine holds 40 tools with SK40 or 30 with SK50, and rapid traverse rates are 32 / 32 / 24 m/min.
Weighing 11,450 kg (SK40) or 11,700 kg (SK50), it provides a rigid base for heavy stock removal. It includes a scraper conveyor and accepts a CNC rotary table, probes and a production package.
Like all Hurco machines, it is programmed with the MAX5 control and WinMax software: conversational programming at the machine, with no need for CAM for most parts, and also in ISO (NC) code. Ferrotall, the Hurco distributor, advises you on configuration, installation and training.
