Description
The Vurcon DC1330 is a double-column (gantry-type) machining centre from the DC series. It has travels of 3,100 × 1,400 × 800 mm, 1,400 mm between columns and a 3,000 × 1,300 mm table that takes 7,000 kg. The BT50 taper spindle turns at 6,000 rpm with a 15/18.5 kW motor and 143 Nm of torque. The machine weighs 23,000 kg, a mass that damps vibration in heavy roughing.
