Description
The Takumi H22T is a 3-axis gantry (double-column) machining centre of the H series, designed for high-precision, high-speed machining of large moulds, structures and large-format frames. It offers travels of 2,200 × 2,200 × 800 mm, 2,350 mm between columns and a 2,400 × 2,100 mm table for 8,000 kg. The letter T denotes the wide version, with 2,200 mm in Y.
The standard spindle is an in-line type at 15,000 rpm with an SK40 BigPlus taper (10 / 14 kW, 89.4 Nm). Optional spindles from 12,000 to 24,000 rpm are available, with up to 222 Nm of torque, including HSK63-A motor spindles for high-speed finishing. The double-arm magazine has 30 positions and rapid traverse rates reach 20 / 16 / 20 m/min.
The bed, columns and crossrail are made of heat-treated Meehanite cast iron, with hand-scraped bearing surfaces and oversized linear roller guideways. As standard it includes a Heidenhain TNC7 control, absolute linear scales on all axes, thermal spindle compensation with sensors, through-spindle coolant at 30 bar, ball screw cooling and a chip conveyor. Options include a 4th/5th-axis rotary table, measuring probes, through-spindle coolant at 70 bar, Rotoclear and the Knoll production package.
