Description
The Takumi G600 is a 3-axis gantry machining centre of the G series, designed specifically for graphite electrodes and small high-precision parts. It offers travels of 600 × 600 × 350 mm, 680 mm between columns and a 600 × 600 mm table for 500 kg.
It is fitted with a 25,000 rpm motor spindle with an HSK50-E taper (20 / 26 kW, 13.5 Nm) and a thermal expansion compensation system. The pick-up magazine has 20 positions and rapid traverse rates reach 30 / 30 / 30 m/min on all three axes.
Graphite dust is abrasive and conductive, which is why the G600 includes as standard an extraction system with collector, full enclosure of the working area, absolute linear scales, a spindle chiller and a Heidenhain TNC7 control. Options include workpiece and tool probes and programmable external air blast.
Weighing just 5,500 kg and with a small footprint, it is Takumi's entry-level machine for the electrode shop of a mould maker. Ferrotall advises you on configuration, installation, service and support.
