Description
The Hurco DCX 42-5Si HSK-A100 is a 5-axis gantry centre of the DCX series that, judging by its designation, is based on the DCX 42 platform, the largest in the series. Hurco presents it as a 5-axis gantry-type vertical machining centre and, as its designation indicates, it is fitted with a spindle with an HSK-A100 taper, compared with the HSK-A63 of the DCX 32-5Si.
It is based on the DCX platform, Hurco's double-column series for large, heavy and complex parts: a rigid gantry structure, cast-iron bed and easy access to the working area. It is designed for large, complex parts that must be machined on several faces in a single set-up, such as large-format moulds, frames and structural components.

Like all Hurco machines, it is programmed with the MAX5 and WinMax control, conversationally at the machine or in ISO code from CAM.
