Description
The Hurco VMX 42UDi is the largest 5-axis machine with an integrated tilting-rotary table in the VMX U series, in its version with an SK40 direct-drive spindle at 15,000 rpm, 15 kW and 96 Nm.
Its travels of 1,067 × 610 × 520 mm, with an A axis of +30 / -110° and a C axis of 360°, and the Ø 398 mm table for workpieces up to Ø 535 mm and 250 kg make it suitable for medium and large 5-axis parts. Rapid traverse rates of 45 / 45 / 40 m/min speed up positioning.
The table, integrated into the structure, retains the usable travel in Z and provides a large working opening. The magazine holds 40 tools (60 optional). The machine weighs 7,200 kg, has a 510 l coolant tank and a scraper conveyor, and accepts probes and automatic loading with ProCobots.
With the MAX5 and WinMax control, programming is conversational at the machine (3+2 and 5-axis) or in ISO code from CAM. Ferrotall, the Hurco distributor, advises you on configuration, installation and training.
