Resumen 2023

2023 in review

Dec 28, 2023

At the Ferrotall Group we want to look back on a year that ends in just a few days. We sum up 2023 by reviewing the most important milestones we leave behind and that have shaped the year.

Our lines of business

In industrial supply, Ferrotall continues to work on offering the best solutions, and we have added new references to our Sonne Tools milling cutters, which are being very well received in the sector.

In used machinery, we have acquired machines and hold a large stock; we will be adding them to our website and keeping you posted on new arrivals.

Our brand of conventional machinery has also kept growing in terms of models, as we have extended the range of some of our flagship products such as the FTV3 and the FTV3I version, the FTV3L or the FTV3e.

Since last October, Ferrotall has been a technical member of the Association of Screw Machining and Machining Companies of Catalonia (ADECAT), providing service and solutions to the sector.

Vurcon continues its worldwide expansion and is broadening its product range to offer solutions at every level.

Ferrotall Monforte del Cid

The main event of 2023 was undoubtedly the move to new premises that we made this summer, from Elche to Monforte del Cid.

After almost 18 years at our facilities in the Elche business park, and following two years of construction work, we have moved to a site of 8,000 square metres where production and management are brought together.

We are now 15 minutes from Elche, in a strategic location in the province of Alicante, right next to the motorway in the Las Norias industrial estate in Monforte del Cid.

National and international trade fairs.

Throughout 2023 a number of industry events and trade fairs filled the calendar. At Ferrotall, we would highlight a few:

GROB Open House

The German manufacturer celebrated 20 years of its Open House, inviting customers and suppliers from all over Europe to its headquarters in Mindelheim, where it presented its latest developments in automation, 4- and 5-axis machining centres and additive manufacturing.

GROB WERKE Open House (March 2023)

EMO HANNOVER

In September 2023 we were at the most important trade fair of the year, exhibiting with our CNC brand Vurcon and our conventional machinery brand Follow Machines.

We were also at the stands of the main manufacturers we represent.

EMO 2023

National trade fairs in the sector

Subcontratación

In June we took part in the Subcontratación fair in Bilbao alongside our colleagues at IBIAE, where we exhibited one of our Swiss-type CNC lathes (sliding headstock) from HANWHA.

Metalmadrid 2023

We closed the year with another edition of Advanced Manufacturing 2023, where we exhibited both with Heller for conventional machinery and with Vurcon for CNC. The response from visitors was excellent.

2024, the year of BIEMH

Next year looks set to be an important one for the sector, as it is one of those years when BIEMH takes place. From 3 to 7 June the latest trends and innovations in machining will come together in Bilbao. We will of course be there and be part of it, as we always have been.

At Ferrotall we face the new year with the same determination as ever. With a track record of more than 40 years, we always aim to offer the best solution for machining, bringing our experience and the latest in the sector.
