La huella de Ferrotall en 2019 en el sector del mecanizado

Ferrotall's footprint on the machining sector in 2019

Dec 17, 2019

Just a few days before closing the 2019 financial year, we look back on what has been a long and hard-working year.

Once again, with the aim of always offering quality solutions within the machining sector, we at the Ferrotall group have done everything in our power to deliver on that promise.

Below we review the highlights of 2019.

In line with our aim of strengthening the image of Ferrotall Group, we have made a clear commitment to bringing our wide range of CNC machinery closer to everyone.

It all started at the end of 2018, when we held our Open House at our site in Ibi, the industrial heart of Alicante, turning it into a great showcase for the entire machining sector.

The idea was a success, so in 2019 we decided to repeat the formula and refurbish our site in Bilbao with all kinds of machinery (conventional and numerically controlled).

We also transformed our facilities here at Elche Business Park to host an Open House over 3 days with various activities related to the sector.

Our presence across Spain has also grown. We even made several tours around the country with our Hurco Product Manager.

Our presence at the most important events in the sector has also increased, with participation in established trade fairs such as Metalmadrid in Madrid and, in Bilbao, (Fitmaq for used machinery, as well as new events such as Fira Industry in Barcelona.

Internationally, we attended AMB in Stuttgart, Timtos 2019 and EMO Hannover (both as exhibitors with one of our machinery brands and on the stands of the brands we represent), as well as TECMA in Mexico and INDUSTRIE in Lyon, France..

As far as machinery is concerned, in 2019 we would like to highlight GROB, one of the brands we represent,   as a different machine concept,, without forgetting the others that complete our range of possibilities, and welcoming the newly launched VURCON, which is sure to make a name for itself in the coming years.

As for used machinery, we continued to grow in 2019. Our participation in FITMAQ 2019, the organisation of international auctions, and the retrofitting and commissioning of cutting-edge machinery put us in a stronger position in the sector every year.

Heller / Follow conventional machinery reached various milestones throughout the year, such as the addition of new machines to its extensive product range and expansion into new countries. As has been the case for years, exhibiting at the most important national and international machine tool fairs is an ever-greater effort.

At the last step of the machining sector (but no less important for that), supplies, we have added Sonne milling cutters and taps to our catalogue of machining accessories.

As this brief summary shows, it has been a year of great dedication to the sector in all its aspects, and the response and impact it has had only encourage us to plan an even better 2020.
