Ferrotall termina el 2021 con grandes noticias

Ferrotall ends 2021 with great news

Dec 28, 2021

2021 is drawing to a close, and at the Ferrotall Group we are taking stock of everything the group's companies have experienced over the year.

This was the year in which the business group turned 40 (from 1981 to 2021) , a year still marked by the COVID 19 pandemic, which continues to affect us today. At Ferrotall we have worked hard to keep growing and improving across all our business lines.

In industrial supplies, our main new launch at the start of the year was the SONNE TOOLS milling cutter catalogue, which was very well received at our Ibibranch.

In used machinery, it has been a busy year: we acquired a complete workshop and added more than 100 new productsto our website. You can see all the machines here:

Heller/Follow has added new products to its range, which you can find on its website, such as the TPH lathes and the FU1370 universal milling machines. At Helfer we have also added new products, such as the Vurcon tapping arms.

We are still building the Vurcon brand: we have updated its corporate identity and website, adding products and content on its machining centres and lathes.

In new CNC machinery , we would highlight our work with the German machining centre manufacturer GROB, presenting the latest 5-axis model in the G series, the G150, and the new 4-axis centres, models G440, G640 and G840.

The end of the year has been very busy, as in-person events finally returned and the Ferrotall Grouphad a packed calendar of events in November and December.

In early November we held our first Open House at our Galdakao site(our first in-person event, and the first of 2021), where we presented the GROB G150 to a very positive response.

On 17 and 18 November we were at Metalmadrid with two stands: Heller, showing new machinery, and Ferrotall, where we machined live throughout the show and drew some of the biggest crowds.

We started December at EMAF in Portugal , exhibiting for the first time with Heller/Follow for conventional machinery and Vurcon for CNC.

In additive manufacturing , we accompanied 3DZ at events such as Addit3D 2021 and Metalmadrid.

The year ends with the start of work to extend the buildings at the Ferrotall Group's facilities in Monforte del Cid. This project will complete the one that began in 2017 and will give the Ferrotall Group higher-quality equipment and facilities.

2022 looks set to be an important year, with the BIEMH returning after the COVID hiatus, and at the Ferrotall Group we will keep working, as always, to stay at the cutting edge and offer every customer the very best.
