Johnford VMC-1300 vertical machining centre
The Johnford VMC-1300, marked ‘Super Vertical’ on the frame, is a long-travel machining centre with a 1,500 x 750 mm table and 1,300 mm in X, suitable for bulky parts and large tooling.
Key strengths
Johnford is a Taiwanese manufacturer of machining centres. The Fanuc control on this unit is a 21i series model, widely used in Spanish workshops, which makes programming and maintenance easier.

What travels does the Johnford VMC-1300 have?
According to our data sheet: 1,300 mm in X, 778 mm in Y and 800 mm in Z, with a 1,500 x 750 mm table. It is a large-format centre, suited to bulky parts that do not fit on machining centres with 1,000 mm of X travel. The Y travel on our data sheet differs from that given in some listings for other units.
Which CNC control does it have?
Photos of the console show a Fanuc Series 21i-MB. This control has a large installed base in Spain, which makes programming and maintenance by our service engineers easier. The panel includes feed, spindle speed and mode selectors, as well as a spindle load meter.
