Description and equipment
Used Zayer 77 AF bed-type milling machine
The Zayer 77 AF is a large bed-type milling machine with a long T-slotted table for heavy, bulky parts: machine beds, frames, large moulds and machinery components. Zayer is a Spanish milling machine manufacturer.
The photos show the 77AF designation engraved on the table and the Zayer name on the upright. Bed-type milling machines have a particularly rigid structure, which favours roughing heavy parts.

What workpiece size does the Zayer 77 AF accept?
According to our data sheet, the table measures 2,160 x 700 mm and the travels are 1,830 mm in X, 1,016 mm in Y and 762 mm in Z. It takes long, heavy parts that will not fit on turret milling machines. The figures come from our technical data sheet.
What is a bed-type milling machine?
It is a large milling machine with the table mounted on a sturdy bed and the head carried on an upright. This design provides rigidity, so it is used for large, heavy parts that will not fit on turret milling machines.
Does it have a digital readout?
Yes. The photos of our unit show a Fagor digital readout with three lines marked X, Y and Z. It is a position readout system, not a CNC control. Next to it, the console has ammeters, push buttons and a selector switch.
