Lagun FTV-4 milling machine
Lagun FTV-4 knee-type milling machine with vertical head, designed for milling, drilling and boring of tooling parts, maintenance work and small batches.
Configuration of this unit
- Lagun brand marked on the head; model FTV-4 as per the title.
- Vertical head with top-mounted motor and quill feed handwheel.
- T-slotted table and feed handwheels on all three axes.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a knee-type milling machine and a machining centre?
A knee-type milling machine is operated with handwheels and levers, and the operator controls every movement; a machining centre runs CNC programs. This Lagun FTV-4 is a knee-type machine, suited to one-off parts, repairs, fitting work and short runs where programming does not pay off.
What taper does the spindle have?
Our data sheet does not record the spindle taper, and the photos do not allow it to be identified with certainty. We do not take any taper for granted: we check it physically on the machine and confirm it to you before the quote, together with the table dimensions and travels.
