Bed-type CNC milling machine for general machining
The CME BF-01 is a fixed-bed CNC milling machine built by Maquinaria CME in Itziar-Deba (Gipuzkoa). It is designed for machining medium-sized workpieces in general machining, tooling, repair and industrial maintenance workshops.
Key strengths of the machine
Bed-type milling machines like the BF-01 keep the workpiece on a table that moves along only one axis, while the head moves on the column, which provides rigidity for roughing with an ISO 50 taper. This unit has a swivelling head, visible in the photos, which allows milling vertically, horizontally and at an angle without dismounting the workpiece. The CNC control with screen and keyboard is mounted on a swivelling arm.

What is the advantage of this milling machine's swivel head?
