Lagun GNC 5M milling centre
The Lagun GNC 5M is a three-axis CNC milling machine with 1,000 x 450 x 540 mm travels and a 1,525 x 325 mm table. It is a compact milling machine for long, narrow parts, tooling and medium-sized machining work.
Control and series features
According to a listing for another Lagun GNC 5 unit, the series has an ISO 40 taper, speeds up to 4,000 rpm and a rapid traverse of 6 m/min; these are series data, not verified here. On this unit, the start-up screen on the console shows a Fagor 8055/A-M.

What travels does the Lagun GNC 5M have?
According to our data sheet, 1,000 mm in X, 450 mm in Y and 540 mm in Z, with a 1,525 x 325 mm table. It suits long, relatively narrow parts, where the elongated table is an advantage over a squarer machining centre.
Does it have an automatic tool changer?
No. Our data sheet states that it has no tool changer, so tools are changed manually. This is a common configuration on three-axis CNC milling machines for short runs, tooling and maintenance machining. The data sheet does list a swarf conveyor.
What control and taper does it have?
The console has a Fagor 8055/A-M control, visible on the start-up screen in the photos, and the data sheet gives an ISO 40 taper. ISO 40 is a widely used standard that offers a large choice of toolholders.
