Description and equipment
Kitamura Mycenter-3X vertical machining centre
The Kitamura Mycenter-3X is a compact vertical machining centre with a 410 x 900 mm table and 760 x 455 x 460 mm travels, for small and medium-sized parts with demanding finish requirements.
Strengths
Kitamura is a Japanese machining centre manufacturer. On this unit the screen and handwheel are marked Yasnac, and the console is labelled Kitamura CNC Machining Center. The panel also includes 4th- and 5th-axis selectors.

Frequently asked questions
What control does the Kitamura Mycenter-3X have?
The screen and handwheel are marked Yasnac and the console Kitamura CNC Machining Center. Our data sheet simply states «Kitamura». The panel includes fourth- and fifth-axis selectors, but no rotary table can be seen in the photos, so we cannot say that the machine has these axes.
What travels and taper does it have?
The travels are 760 mm in X, 455 mm in Y and 460 mm in Z, with a 410 x 900 mm table. The taper is BT40 and the changer holds up to 20 tools, according to our data sheet. It does not have through-tool coolant. The weight is 5,500 kg.
How fast does the spindle turn?
Our data sheet states 15,000 rpm. Some listings for other Mycenter-3X machines give 10,000 rpm depending on the specification, so this figure should be confirmed on the machine before purchase if maximum speed is a requirement for your work, for example in aluminium or with small-diameter cutters.
