The Pinacho S-90 VS/310 is a centre lathe from Pinacho's S-90 series, with 3,150 mm between centres according to our data sheet and 620 mm swing over bed. It is aimed at long parts in general machining.

Frequently asked questions
What length does this lathe take?
According to our data sheet, 3,150 mm between centres, with 620 mm swing over bed and 880 mm in the gap; the spindle bore is 80 mm. The ‘3000’ in the title does not match the data sheet: the figure we give is the one on the data sheet (3,150 mm), to be confirmed on the machine.
What does VS stand for in the model name?
On the S-90VS/310 nameplate, the letters VS are usually associated with variable speed; our data sheet gives 30 to 1,500 rpm, and an inverter can be seen in the electrical cabinet. This stepless variation lets you match the cutting speed to the workpiece diameter without changing speed range at every step.
Does it have a digital readout?
Yes. The photos show a Fagor readout above the headstock. It lets you read the axis positions without relying solely on the handwheel dials and repeat dimensions between passes, which is useful for precision machining of long parts.
