Description and equipment
Pinacho L-1/180 centre lathe
A centre lathe from the Pinacho L-1 series, with 1,000 mm between centres and 360 mm swing over bed. It is a compact lathe for shafts, bushes and small to medium-sized parts in machine shops and maintenance workshops.
Visible equipment
The headstock plate reads "Mod. L-1/180" and includes a speed chart with three ranges, from 60 to 2,000 rpm, plus charts for metric, Whitworth and module threads and for longitudinal and cross feeds. A Lardi toolpost, three-jaw chuck, flexible lamp and handwheels with graduated dials can be seen.

Frequently asked questions
What speed range does the Pinacho L-1/180 have?
The headstock plate gives three speed ranges, with values from 60 to 2,000 rpm, and our data sheet matches that range. The ranges are selected with the headstock levers, and the full chart, with the rpm for each combination, can be checked on the machine during a visit.
What threads can it cut?
The feed gearbox plate includes charts for metric, Whitworth and module threads, as well as longitudinal and cross feeds. The lever combinations for each pitch are shown on the same plate, which is useful for repair work involving different thread standards.
What bar diameter passes through the spindle?
According to our data sheet, the spindle bore is 42 mm. This is useful for bar work, although the length of bar passing through may be limited by the tailstock and the guard, so the actual configuration should be checked.
