Gurutzpe Super-AT centre lathe with 3,000 mm between centres
The Gurutzpe Super-AT is a heavy-duty centre lathe for long, large-diameter parts. This unit has 3,000 mm between centres, 820 mm swing over bed and 1,100 mm in the gap, according to our data sheet, which also gives 1982 as its year.
Key strengths
The headstock plate is marked «modelo SUPER-AT» and carries a table of cutting speeds and powers, and the upper panel includes a pressure gauge, an ammeter and a push-button station. Our data sheet lists an 18 CV (metric hp) main motor and a speed of 500 rpm.

What parts does this Gurutzpe lathe accept?
According to our data sheet, 3,000 mm between centres, 820 mm swing over bed, 1,100 mm in the gap and 550 mm over the cross slide. It can turn long shafts and, thanks to the gap, short large-diameter parts such as flanges or discs. For slender parts the unit has a fixed steady rest and a tailstock.
What power and speed does it have?
Our data sheet gives an 18 CV (metric hp) main motor and a speed of 500 rpm. The table of cutting speeds and powers is printed on the headstock fascia, and the machine data sheet lets you confirm the available speed ranges with us before you decide. If you machine large parts, tell us the material and diameter so we can assess whether it is a good fit.
What is the difference from a CNC lathe?
This is a conventional centre lathe: the operator moves the axes with handwheels and levers, without a program. It is useful for one-off parts, repairs and short runs of large parts, where the time needed to program and prove out a CNC is not worthwhile. For repetitive production, a CNC lathe is the better option.
