Description and equipment
Used Helfer A1500 three-phase industrial dust extractor
Extraction unit with a fan and a fabric filter sleeve, designed to collect dust and light swarf in the workshop, for example in sanding or deburring areas.

Typical applications

Frequently asked questions
Is it a single-phase or three-phase extractor?
It is three-phase: this is stated in the data sheet designation (A1500 three-phase), and the photos show a red industrial CEE-type plug on the power cable. You will need a three-phase socket in your workshop. If you only have a single-phase supply, please contact us before deciding.
What type of filter does it have?
The photos show a vertical fabric filter sleeve held by a metal frame, above a fan with an electric motor. This is a configuration for extracting dust and light waste. We cannot state the condition of the fabric or its capacity.
Is it suitable for extracting machining swarf?
The unit is designed for dust and light waste. It is not the usual solution for coarse or sharp metal swarf, which can damage the fabric and the fan. If your application is sanding, deburring or general workshop dust, it is a suitable option.
