Description
The Hurco VMX 60Di is the direct-drive spindle version of the VMX 60i. It is fitted with an SK40 direct-drive spindle at 15,000 rpm, 22 kW and 140 Nm and rapid traverse rates of 45 / 45 / 40 m/min (32 / 32 / 24 on the VMX 60i).
With travels of 1,524 × 660 × 610 mm and a 1,680 × 660 mm table with 6 T-slots of 18 mm (H8) and a load capacity of 2,000 kg, it is a machine for long parts, several fixtures at once or large-format plates. The magazine holds 30 tools, expandable to 40.
Its 9,700 kg structure with a cast-iron bed ensures stability in roughing and accuracy in finishing. It includes a scraper swarf conveyor and accepts a CNC rotary table as a 4th axis, workpiece and tool probes, a production package and automation with ProCobots.
Like all Hurco machines, it is programmed with the MAX5 control and WinMax software: conversational programming at the machine, with no need for CAM for most parts, and also in ISO (NC) code. Ferrotall, the Hurco distributor, advises you on configuration, installation and training.
