The Hedisa TD-13 is a compact pillar drill, with the motor head mounted on a round column, a rectangular slotted table and a drill chuck. It is used for small-diameter holes in workshop parts, fixtures and short runs.
The plate on the head itself lists six speeds, from 400 to 3,500 rpm, and matches each drill diameter (from 2 to 12 mm) to its recommended speed for HSS twist drills in steels of 70 to 90 kgf/mm². Feed is by lever, and a graduated scale from 0 to 120 shows the depth.
Drilling 2 to 12 mm holes in steel and other metals; maintenance work, tooling and small batches where a larger drilling machine is not justified.
The machine is at our premises in Monforte del Cid (Alicante), where you can visit it; contact us to see it running or to receive a video. Our own service engineers take care of transport, installation and commissioning.
The head plate matches 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm HSS twist drills to speeds from 3,500 to 400 rpm for steels of 70 to 90 kgf/mm². These are cutting values recommended by Hedisa, not a stated capacity limit; for larger drills or other materials, please check with us.
Six speeds, which according to the head plate are 400, 700, 1,000, 1,500, 2,200 and 3,500 rpm. The low speed is for the largest drills and the high speed for the small ones, so that the cutting speed stays within the range recommended for HSS drills.
It is a pillar drill with a table and lever feed, suited to small holes in workshop parts, fixtures, templates and short runs. Given the size of its reference drills (up to 12 mm), it is not intended for drilling large or heavy parts, for which a radial arm drill or a larger pillar drill is a better choice.
