Frequently asked questions

What is the advantage of a screw compressor?

It is designed for continuous duty, with a steadier air flow and a noise level kept down by its enclosure. It suits workshops with constant air demand, unlike piston compressors, which are intended for intermittent duty.

What tank capacity and pressure does it have?

The air receiver is marked 500 litres and 11 bar. The compressor plate states a working pressure of 8 bar. The tank figure refers to the air receiver mounted under the enclosure; the actual working pressure should be checked during your visit.

What power supply does it need?

The plate states 400 V at 50 Hz and a power of 11 kW, i.e. an industrial three-phase supply. Before installation, the supply cable and protective devices need to be sized; our service engineers can advise you during commissioning.
