According to the manufacturer's catalogue, the TVMC-5XC is a travelling-column machining centre with a tilting head and rotary table, designed for 5-axis machining of long and large parts in a single set-up. Its 3,400 x 700 mm fixed table makes it suitable for moulds, tooling, die-making and long components.
According to the manufacturer's catalogue, the TVMC series is offered with tables from 2,400 to 5,400 mm, a head with direct-drive B axis, a rotary table with DD motor on the 5XC version, and Heidenhain or Siemens control. These are series data, not data for this specific unit.
Long moulds and dies, tooling, aerospace and energy parts, spars and profiles requiring five-face machining or complex surfaces.
The machine is at our premises in Monforte del Cid (Alicante), where you can visit it; contact us to see it running or to receive a video. Our own service engineers take care of transport, installation and commissioning.
According to our listing, the table measures 3,400 x 700 mm and the X, Y, Z travels are 3,400 x 760 x 760 mm. According to the catalogue, it is a travelling-column design, suited to long, narrow parts. Send us the dimensions and weight of your part and we will assess whether it fits.
Our listing gives a Heidenhain 530 i TNC control and a BT-40 taper, with through-tool coolant and a 40-position random tool changer. Heidenhain controls are widely used in mould and 5-axis machining for their conversational programming and cycles.
A 3-axis centre moves the tool in X, Y and Z; a 5-axis centre adds two rotary axes, here the tilting head and the rotary table according to the series catalogue. This allows several faces to be machined in a single set-up, with less re-clamping and greater accuracy between faces.
